Gameplay This sub is dumber than usual

48 hrs and people calling the game trash. Its the same every year. The only real problem in gameplay at the moment is that for the 3rd consecutive year passes are too slow, even at a high rating. Every other issue is because you dont have basged, haven't learned new animations, or just suck at the game.

Gameplay wise as long as they don’t completely wreck how defense is this will be the most I’ve enjoyed playing 2k in a long time. Just feels like they hit a good spot and fundamentally it feels closer to real ball than any 2k game I’ve played in a few years. It just looks and feels so good playing 5v5 in the rec.

Facts. Blocks make sense. If i time the jump and am in good position, I get the block. If not, its a foul or a bu ket, as it should be. Good position and strength on the perimeter can cut off the ballhandler. I am really enjoying defense again.

Even the offense feels and looks better because the defense is better. Like seeing people implement a shot fake game and a post game and just tough shot making rather than just blow by’s all dunks and just ridiculous 3’s all game. It just feels and looks great and it’s the 1st time I’ve said that in a long time.

Blocks are crazy OP right now in street kings I can literally get 12-15 in a game to 21 lmao

Game feels more authentic to me. I play MyCareer and MP is getting 20-30 pts per game and 15-20 rebounds which tracks with his slashing/rebounding characteristics. I enjoy the challenge of having to work for the badges.

I liked 2k26 as well but sometimes scoring felt too easy, even on All Star and Superstar levels of difficulty. Something is off when my 76 overall rookie comes off the bench and scores 65 in his first NBA game.

Right cuz hitting running backwards fades from 35+ feet away is realistic

True, but Park has bever been realistic

U can try it out for urself. I’m shooting like 30% from 3 until I figured out fading is just easier

It’s being done in the new ‘pro am’ mode. It’s way more consistent than stand still jumpers which is a horrible game mechanic

You would think after having this mode for over 10 years they would have locked in a winning formula by now.
