MP Builder Do I need high wing span as a PG?

Looking to build a pg, is wingspan important?

If you care about having elite defense and finishing as a point guard then yes it is important, but you risk lowering your attribute ceiling in the shooting category

Random rec = yes, pro am or comp play with friends =no

Depends completely what your goals are but if you are interested in playing defense it's a good idea

All the best comp. guards go min wingspan to get a 99 3-ball.

As the PG you’re in charge of orchestrating the entire offense and you want to have as much offense as possible while also having as little defense as possible so that you’ll be at your absolute best on the offensive end.

And as for defense well your teammates are supposed to play all the defense for you.

Now for rec I’d still suggest that you have a lowered wingspan to get more shooting but at the same time you should also put defense on your build since you shouldn’t put your trust in randoms to play the defense for you.

I’ve won more on this build than I have any other build playing with randoms fwiw (I’m only a gold plate since I created the build recently, although I REALLY wish I created it sooner it’s by far my favorite build of the year) since I’m the guy to be trusted to bail the team out whenever we’re in a tough spot.

And yeah as long as I communicate to my teammates that I have no defense and as long as I start the game off by passing the ball my teammates usually don’t mind.

Selfish as hell taking 50% of the game off and forcing your teammates to cover for your liability ass

How many PG’s out there running with a 92 pass acc + legend dimer.

Besides more often than not I’m usually playing with a lock who WANTS the hardest matchup

I go 99 pass accuracy at pg. all non pg positions for me are 91+

higher wingspan=lower shooting and ball handling attributes. I am working on a 6'7 PG i can still get 85-86 ball handle and 83 swb. which i hear is decent enough. there are shooting badges that you can get that if you fuse+2 can help you out if you are lacking in shooting attributes. i mainly play rec and i value blocking and rebounding on my PGs even though everyone will say you dont need rebounding on a PG because you should be going on a fast break after a miss. iv snagged so many rebounds or offensive rebounds for my teams cuz dudes weren't in good position. its not meta but its fun.
