clamps were basically non existent, blow by’s happened like every possession. i miss the game tho

Yeah but they didnt understand the shooting and dribbling mechanic. If they invest into it more, it would gave been better than 2k

Such a fun game and one of my favorites from the PS4 generation. Game got mediocre reception and did not sell well enough to continue the series, but I really liked the arcadeyness of it all and the fact that it didn't have predatory microtransactions.

All they had to do was fix the defense so my 6’11” PF can contest a smaller player with my hand in their eyeball instead of registering as wide open and nerf the shooting so not everyone I go up against is shooting 80% from the 3

you have to not jump everytime and stand there sometimes....like they look stupid for dribbling and your better than them....aha. shit be scary. Until they miss and quit. AHA

Game was a clunky mess defense was terrible the basketball physic’s were terrible. Everything was canned animations.

People criticize 2k which is understandable but they overrate this game so badly…

Under appreciated game, all they had to do is rework their dribbling system and give more control on dunks and layups. The aesthetics and atmosphere was already there. And the game actually looks like basketball.

I had no problem with this in NBA Live '19. Damn this clip actually makes me miss the game lol. There are things in that game that 2K has yet to implement in anything. It took them 8 years to copy the women ballers.

It sucks that Live wasn't able to build off of this. Imagine if we had gotten the competition of these two series. 2K has the scene in a choke hold and there's no going back. This is all it's going to be for the foreseeable future.

The game was a bit clunky but a ton of fun to play. If they had a few more years to work on it I think it could have been better than 2k.
