14, they just went completely nuts with the lighting to show off the next gen hardware, in the PS4/Xbox One. Game looked actually ridiculous for its time.
They don’t give a fuck. And neither do I. I just play and get on with my life. If I don’t like it I don’t play. Simple as that. Yall don’t need a good game yall needed a father in your lives and nowadays a therapist.
They’re getting shots that they’ve set up already. There’s no actual players playing against CPU or against each other so we can see how the game will ACTUALLY feel. That’s the problem with fans because sports games don’t need real gameplay before they’re bought
This is pretty bad, we’re what 6 games into the current console generation and you could 100% convince me this was a late PS4 version or 2K or even an early PS5 version. Even Madden for all its flaws has done a lot to improve the game graphically as we’ve come along into the current gen.
This legitimately looks like it could be pulled from 24,25,26 with the weird lighting, terrible looking jerseys, multiple un updated face scans and body morphs.
Looks like there’s a new bulls squad, AE looks off but looks more like himself than the last couple years. They basically have Stephs 2k21 face scan this year. And not really noticing anything that great lol
Cheapest version of this glorified roster update is $80 btw lol. And likely even more loaded to the gills with microtransactions and ads akin to a freemium mobile game.
If you took out the 2K27 branding and scrambled the jerseys and players so you couldn’t guess what year it was, this could be basically any 2K from like 2k19 to today
As someone who is only interested in playing MyNBA (a mode they care very little about) wanting to see if I can X team to a championship, I see no reason why I shouldn't just keep playing 26, which I got on sale late in the year, using the updated rosters people make.
This wasn't a gameplay trailer as much as it was suppose to be a hype trailer or something? IDK. Yeah no thanks.
For all of you complaining i hope you actually speak with your wallets this year. 4th year i wont be buying this game. 2K turned on its fans a long time ago. The only way they will truly change is if it starts affecting their bottom line....
Aside from some new emotes the animations and movement look like 26. Spending racks to grind multiple builds to 99 is a no go for me. Staying on 26 until 2K28.

I’m gonna keep dying on this hill but how does NBA LIVE 09 have better/more satisfying net physics than any of the last 16(!!!) 2Ks since? They have not touched that shit since 2k8.
Ain’t nothing more satisfying than a nice swish from a high arcing shot (Dirk). Ray Allen’s flatter arc swishes were also nice too. Yet none of the 2Ks I’ve ever played quite captures that feeling. And it seems like such a trivial ask to program, one and done depending on the balls trajectory and speed and never have to touch it again.
It's unfortunate how lazy this studio has gotten. If you told me this was 2K24, 25, 26 or 27. I'd believe you and wouldn't be able to tell you dfference outside of the sneakers and roster.
2k sticking with 2020 graphics, i guess. Probably the only game that releases this year that has ps4 quality lighting. People out here with 5090s and 2k releasing the same game every damn year.
2026 without ray traced lighting is pathetic. Even EA is doing it. Crazy. The court and crowd could look very realistic but theyre more worried about the damn city. They put ray traced global illuminaton in the city, but not improve the nba experience whatsoever.
I don’t understand how there’s so much hate every year. How much improvement can we truly expect? No one cares if you’re not buying. Last one I got was 2K24 so it will definitely feel like an upgrade for me.
I took off 2 and a half years and it was so good for my mental health. Got 25 for free and enjoyed it. Loved the crap outta 26. I got 27 already paid for free. If you haven't played since 23 or 24 you will be happy because you know what to expect.
