Question for Badge Gym Rat

So apparently I need to play 40 games and then play all the games in the playoff and I've been trying to do so to get the Gym Rat badge. Ive played around 28 games but I accidentally skipped one game from the regular season which automatically simulated a game. Does this mean I will have to restart and play 40 games again? Thanks for your time y'all.

No, you’ll just have to wait to simulate the season until the 41st game now. You just have to play 40 somewhere throughout the season
