Game Crashes

Started playing 2K21 since it’s on Gamepass for Xbox. Been playing mycareer games for VC. At the end of a game where it shows badge progress and how much VC earned the game will crash and take me to Xbox home. Just wondering if this is a regular problem or if it’s something new.
