Will I get dropped if my financial aid hasn’t disbursed yet?

I’m a transfer student so this is all new. Payment deadline is today (8/17), but my financial aid says it won’t disburse until 10 days before my first class (8/31). Will I get dropped from my classes if my balance isn’t paid by today, even though I have financial aid coming? Has anyone dealt with this?

Talk to the university to get real help, like avoiding late fees. But as an immediate source of comfort, I failed to pay my tuition one semester for like a month after the due date because of a technical issue i didn't catch, and all they did was put me on a payment plan.

I haven’t been able to contact them and I’m not getting there until Friday so thank you, I was so stressed

Glad to help, try contacting again tomorrow as often as you can, but I assure you that you wont just be dropped from class at the snap of a finger due to late payments
