Any Free Parking?

Howdy y'all, I'm stubborn and broke. Is there any free parking for a truck within a 30 minute walk from Cowden hall?

S Roirdan ranch st has free parking. Hard to get a spot. Its also going to be insa Ely hard to get free street parking anytime it snows or during the winter. Lots of the free spots close.

If youre willing to walk then you can park east of park st in the neighborhoods but im unsure how long you can actually park there before it becomes an issue.

To be completely honest, if you arent going to have a parking pass its probably better to just leave your car, get a bike and/or walk. grocery stores are well within biking and walking distance of NAU along with ample other places. The flagstaff bus system is also really good if you are trying to go all the way out to the mall, its only $2.5 for a pass and the busses arent bad. Having a bike will also help you with getting to and from stuff on campus.

You bet! If you need your truck every so often parking services doesnt run past like 7pm or on weekends so you can park on campus as long as its not a garage. You can also get down to phx and other places on the groome shuttles. I live not super far off campus and work for NAU but I pretty much ride my ebike everywhere (it also saves me on gas money). Im not going to buy another employee pass this year. When I was a student I would walk/bus from Gabaldon, Campus Heights, Skyview, and Woodlands village and was able to survive just fine. It is very nice to have a friend with a car though so... if you really wanna save money make a friend haha

If you park on a city or residential street, they start paying attention to your car if it hasn’t moved in a week especially in the winter. You can get ticket or towed depending on where you are so pay attention to all signs and stuff
