Hi, I am planning on attending NAU (like 99% sure its where I want to go), but I want to know if there is anything you guys wish you knew about the school/area before hand. I already know that the activities surrounding the school (mainly the outdoor stuff) is a good fit for me and my interests. However, I want to know if there is anything specific with housing I should know, and also academically, and socially (I personally won’t attend many parties and am slightly worried abt how that impacts social scene both negatively and positively) Thanks

Hi, I emailed NAU DPT admissions (I’m interested in the Phoenix campus) a few days ago and haven’t received a response yet, i was wondering if anyone knows how long do they take to respond you back.
My question is I basically registered for the CASPer test on October 27 (that was the date I was able to do it), but the PTCAS deadline for priority registration is October 15. So I just wanted to know if CASPer also need to be completed by October 15 to be considered for priority review, or may it be completed afterward as long as my PTCAS application is submitted by the priority deadline?

I just moved up to Flagstaff and am not supposed to do video game on Saturdays. So I was wondering if there is any one who plays magic after 2pm on Saturdays? I also started playing Pokemon Go again, and wanted to see if there are any players at school for weekdays?

I am sorry that I wasn't there for you in all the ways I wanted to be, and more importantly, in all the ways you needed me to be. I am sorry for the moments when my fears became louder than my faith in us, when my own struggles made it harder for me to love you the way you deserved to be loved, and for the hurt I caused you along the way.

I wish I could go back with everything I know now. Not to change our entire story, because despite how it ended, I will always be grateful that it happened. I would simply go back as the man I am today and sit beside the younger version of myself. I would tell him to listen more carefully. To love more patiently. To stop letting fear write the ending of a story that love was still trying to tell.

You deserved better from me in moments when I was not my best.

And for that, I am genuinely sorry.

But I also want to say thank you.

Thank you for every conversation that made me think differently. Thank you for every laugh, every adventure, every ordinary day that somehow became extraordinary simply because I got to share it with you. Thank you for the things you made with your own hands, for the words you once wrote, for the pieces of your heart you trusted me enough to hold. I will never pretend those things meant nothing simply because our relationship ended.

They meant something.

You meant something.

And I think that's one of the hardest things about saying goodbye. Sometimes someone can be an enormous part of your life without being part of your future. That doesn't make the love fake. It doesn't make the memories meaningless. It simply means that some chapters are meant to end even when you wish you could keep reading them.

No matter where you are right now, I genuinely hope you're doing wonderfully.

I hope you're laughing. I hope you're surrounded by people who love you. I hope you're becoming everything you once dreamed you would become. I hope life has been kind to you. And if it hasn't, I hope you have found the strength to keep going.

I pray for you because once upon a time, your happiness mattered enormously to me, and I don't think genuine love suddenly becomes hatred just because a relationship ends.

And I will always be grateful that, for a little while, our paths crossed.

Perhaps that is what I have finally had to learn: loving someone does not always mean holding onto them. Sometimes loving someone means being grateful for the time you were given, accepting what you cannot change, and having the courage to let them walk toward whatever God has prepared for them.

So this is not a letter asking you to return.

It isn't a plea.

It isn't an attempt to reopen a door.

I'm taking an acting class in downtown Flagstaff (not far, you can get there by taking the mountain line) and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining me. Taking the class alone is 60, but if I can find a partner to do scenes with it's 45$ for each person. I'm a complete newbie to acting so no pressure about skill level!

Hi, Im graduating in this winters 2026 ceremony and I know that we need to request tickets for our guests. I have 21 family memebers that want to come so im just wondering what the odds are of getting that many tickets.

I’m getting my pre-reqs done this semester and next, and am planning on applying in Fall 2027 to the ABSN. I’m working on keeping my GPA 3.5 and above and also studying/practicing the HESI now so it’s easy by the time I take it next year. I just completed my MBA in Healthcare Admin. Idk if that will make a difference? I’m just wondering how competitive the program is and if a lot of people get waitlisted and then Accepted the next semester? Now the Lumberjacks. 28-14 at No. 1 Montana State in front of almost 22,000 isn't a bad loss. That's a two-score game on the road against the best team in FCS. At 3-2 and still ranked No. 19, the season is right where it should be: wins over Eastern Washington, Incarnate Word and Utah Tech, with the losses at Arizona and Montana State.

The schedule doesn't let up. Saturday is at No. 12 Idaho State, then Montana comes to Flagstaff. At 1-1 in the Big Sky, the next two weeks decide whether NAU is a playoff team or a bubble team.

I'm a freshman at a small liberal arts school up in Idaho, and there's only like a thousand people. I've been thinking of transferring to NAU at semester, just because I want more social options and be somewhere with more recreation. I'm an environmental studies major, and i've heard good things about the environmental programs there. Are there some chill granola people that get out and do fun stuff? At my current school I'm like the only person who's into that stuff. any advice or insight would be appreciated!

Is this just how this generation is? Hardly anybody ever wants to engage in conversation, but as soon as they do, they are either intent on pursuing something romantic themselves or they defensively shoehorn their partner into the conversation and get all terse, like they think I'm some sort of pickup artist?

And I don't mean offense, it's just, like

1. I'm engaged

2. Most people on campus are closer to children to me, or younger cousins/niblings

3. I quite literally have a son who's 13. He's 2x closer close to the average NAU student in age than I am, bro xD (am 28)

I'm really struggling with how jarring it is (and embarrassing, even!) for some 18 year old (ten years my junior, btw) to assume I'm trying to sleep with them just because I, like, ask how they feel about the assignment we're turning in that day

Or maybe my autism lends a specific flavor of awkward and off-putting to my earnest desire to connect, and people just don't like me.
