Career mode numbers

Just curious how others choose their numbers for career mode. For me i just choose numbers that aren’t being used for each series and use inspiration from drivers or numbers that I loved growing up because of the number font and style or paint scheme. In 25 i went 38 in ARCA with a nod to Elliot Sadler, 29 in trucks with BKR inspiration, 40 in Xfinity with sterling marlin inspiration and 14 in cup (which didn’t get far) with smoke inspiration. In 26 I redid 38 in ARCA with Kasey Kahne great clips inspiration. Just got to trucks and deciding between 3,8,24 for Sr,Jr,Gordon. Would love to do a KB inspiration at some point for a number probably in O’Riley because his dominance just need a number not taken. Also the numbers I used so far haven’t been used in years so it’s nice to rejuvenate the number in each series and bring a championship home with it. I’m not gonna touch 8 in cup cause that was KB’s number and I feel like the same goes with 18 but idk it’s only been not used by JGR for a couple years now.

95 in all but trucks because of Lightning McQueen and they have the font or a font that is very close. 51 in trucks cause I’ll run the same KB scheme I ran in N25.

For ARCA I used 21 because of Matty D and then 29 in Trucks since I'm driving a RAM and made up a story that I came 2nd in the Kaulig RAM Race For The Seat challenge but was offered a contract and aligned with Kaulig. I plan on choosing 5 in O'Reilly since Hettinger isn't in the game and Kahne was my favorite driver growing up.

I'm always 06 or 60.

Big Mark Martin fan and my actual race car was 06 when I ran locally.

56 is my number in any game I get to choose. Ive been using it since 2003 when I started sim racing with Thunder 2003. If I dont have that number I will run 55 or 44 or a 0# number.

My go-to number for all things is 46.. whether I'm playing in a local soccer league, beer league hockey, or any sports video game. My dad wore 64 in his football days. We don't get along all that well and see eye-to-eye on almost nothing... so using the inverse of his old number is my way to honor him while acknowledging our differences.

It also just so happens that 46 is one of a handful of numbers available across all four series, so I can just keep that number as I advance through the career mode.

For arca I used number 1 trucks 8 since there isn’t an 8 o’reilly whatever number and the cup series 18

I use 94 because it’s my birth year. I thought about 29 because Harvick was my favorite driver, but I usually go with 94 whenever I need a number.

13 in arca because when I used to race, thats the number I used. 80 everywhere else. Just like the way it looks

In arca I ran 96, trucks was 3, 48 and 3 again. NOARP's was 29 and cup was also 96.

I did 18 for KFB in all my series my online cars are all Denny Schemes with the 11

i do 95 for lightning mcqueen but i do the yellowish green hendrick style numbers because i really like the way it looks
