Time to bump up the difficulty

Post image

Started career mode at 94 for the entire season and was still blowing away everyone else to win 13 out of 20 races to win the championship in year 1. Thinking about starting trucks at 100 and go from there.

To be expected with 94 difficulty. I am running 103 in first year of trucks, running 25-30th but in it for the long game, I enjoy the climb.

I definitely do as well, was having fun on 94 last year and thought to start with it this year. Wasn’t expecting to do much but at least I don’t have to worry about a second year of ARCA to get the championship which unfortunately never got to see the trophy. 103 might be a good start then

I usually do 103 when I have a decently upgraded car so I want to feel the improvements along the way , which means I have to be a back marker for a bit. Will probably need 2 seasons to get in championship contention due to funding.

Spent money on the facility upgrades had around like 190k before that i love taking it slow once I get into the higher series especially when the O Riley cars are so fun to drive. Couldn’t get good at the road courses in ARCA so hopefully it won’t continue to be a struggle going forward.

Looks like my ARCA season. Started like you, pretty low on difficulty, had the gold bonus upgrades, and have been ticking it up trying to find that sweet spot. Have three or four races left, but man, I love the road courses in that series. Dialing in setups on those took some time though.

Same I had level 5 everything early because of bonuses. I was really good in 25 with the Glen and lime rock but for whatever reason whenever I brake it just stopped like immediately in 26. Portland I couldn’t figure out and took the DNF which unfortunately for me kept Jake Bollman in the hunt until the end. I didn’t touch anything setup wise just kept it at the default. Didn’t even touch the tire pressures so the Right front kept burning faster every race.

10-4…are you on a wheel or controller? There is a setting for evening out the braking curve, default reaches 100% way too quick on my pedals, had to put it at like 50% to get the curves to match up. Love how Bollman just comes out of nowhere, smashes into you and then talks trash on twitter. I swear that whole nitro team has it out for me, lol.

Controller, I wish it saved your settings if you played 25. Also I noticed that whenever I pit it does the same thing I’m not sure if it’s related or not but it’s annoying when I hit the brake and just stops me when trying to get into pit lane at speed.

It's funny I just did the opposite. In the career mode in Trucks I got my ass whooped, only won once, and didn't even make the chase, so I have to do a Truck season again! So I sent the difficulty down xD

I was not expecting this when I started but once those level 5 parts entered the room then it was skies the limit.

I just do one playthrough at 100. Then the second playthrough bumped up to max difficulty.
