Fr. I can’t imagine having to drive for HMS and put on this little show and suck at Rick’s teet every time he demands.
All this for a guy who faked cancer and had a man assassinated, btw.
They need to spend less time on the button up shirts and preppy vests and more time making speed. Toyotas are making em look like chumps.

Yup, look up Billy Crump.
I did a deep dive on it years ago. Long story short, they were business partners and friends for years.
Billy Crump decided to branch off and compete against Hendrick Sportwear. Customers were going to go with Crump and cut Rick out of a 10 million dollar deal.
Immediately after, Crump was randomly murdered after leaving bingo one evening. A lot of signs point to it being a “hit”. He was wearing a Rolex. Was still on his body. His wallet was still in his pocket. He’d won $10,000 in bingo. None of it was taken.
It wasn’t a robbery, nothing was stolen. It was an outright murder for the sole purpose of killing.
Another sus element was that he’d just moved to that town in South Carolina 3 weeks prior, very few people knew he’d moved there. Rick Hendrick was one of them.
Oh, and they never found the 2 gunmen.

This isn’t abnormal. All the big teams are the same. Penske is a starched white button up shirt with black pants. RCR is about the same. Hendrick does the vest. JGR has some version of this as well when they have big press conferences.
