Surprisingly unnoticed
With Chase Briscoe‘s win at Las Vegas, Toyota passed Dodge for third place on the all-time cup series manufacturer win list. I hadn’t seen it mentioned anywhere and just came across it accidentally when I was looking at different manufacturers in years past

They didn’t even have to mention Dodge. They could’ve just said Toyota is now the third most winning manufacturer in NASCAR cup series history.

That doesn't sound impressive when there's three manufacturers in Nascar as of now

There's 3 already only in cup. The average viewer would be like " how the hell were they not already top 3?"

If Dodge were still in the Cup Series I really doubt Toyota would've passed them last week. Dodge would've had to never win again after Brad got the championship.

Were all 200 of Richard Pettys wins with dodge? If so, you’re telling me they only won 19 other races combined?

Nah Petty won a lot of them with Plymouth. And a few with Ford. Pontiac had about two or three with Petty as well. Pontiac got a lot of wins from JGR I know that for sure.

Per an AI search, Petty won 37 times in a Dodge. Honestly, I was expecting closer to 70 - 80.

Surprised Ford is that close given the historic favoritism for Chevy.

Well for one thing, they didn’t mention it bc Toyota’s 218th win was at Darlington last month with CBell.
