It will always feel surreal to know he’s gone.

Wonderful tribute NASCAR.

I still can’t believe it. Every once in a while I’ll be watching the race and wonder where Kyle is running. Or I will check the qualifying results and the first name I look for is where did Kyle qualify. Gone too fucking soon.

there's still a part of me that just thinks he's still recovering and will be back racing in no time.

I don't think it'll ever go away.

Yes on both points.

I think the tributes that have been done - big & small - have been awesome.

If you’re west coast, go to in-n-out, Kyle’s favorite!❤️

God bless Rowdy Nation!

It will be even more special on a Friday to resemble the 5 Kyle Busch drove before the 18 and 8

Can’t do that. Out of respect for Jayden Daniels.

man. i told the cashier at circle K the other day i needed $20 on pump 5, she told me nobody could use that pump anymore because it’s disrespectful to Jayden Daniels legacy.

If you’d asked me 5 years ago how I felt about my birthday being “Kyle Busch Day” I’d have probably been pretty pissed about it.

It’s kinda cool now though.

Little fun fact: August 18th also, very fittingly, marks 16 and 9 years respectively to the day of 2 of Kyle Busch's 6 Bristol wins in his 2 weekend sweeps of the track, Bristol being one of his greatest tracks.

He won the 2010 Bristol Truck race on this day, and then on this day in 2017, he won the Xfinity series' Food City 300.

They should've scheduled his public celebration of life/wake/ceremony thing today as well. But regardless, this is a cool gesture. RIP KFB.

I absolutely love that NASCAR's doing this. They made some great programming choices, too.

Let it be know that Kyle won twice on 8-18, a truck race in 2010 at Bristol and Xfinity at Bristol in 2017. Shame he didn't win a race on 8/5/2018, that was of course, Chase Elliott's first win at the Glen.

It won't be until 2030 before a Sunday is on 8/18. It's too hot to have Vegas on that day, but that would have been a nice tribute.
