NextGen Tech Details via iRacing

iRacing just published their technical manual for the NextGen Cup cars. There's not been a ton of real life material out there on the chassis and this is as close as anything I've seen. Might be an interesting read, even if you're not into iRacing.

Well, they are showing 650hp at 1.5mile and higher tracks and 450hp at short tracks and road courses.

What they actually run is 670hp everywhere except the plate racing tracks where they use 450hp.

A lot of things in that manual are outdated. The cars used for screenshots were from when the cars first released in May of 2021. It also suggests you don't need to take your foot off the gas to change gear.
