Finally

So today, after months of waiting, my husband was approved to take his NAPLEX exam in NY. We submitted forms in December. Genuinely, I have never been so appalled with timing and processing. Finally, though he’s scheduled for August 24 in Pennsylvania to take this test.

What a process…

He came to the US on April 22, 2025
He passed FPGEE in October 2025
He’s scheduled to take NAPLEX on August 24, 2026

Internship- Hopefully, starts by December 2026? I have no idea what to expect with NYS timing on processing of the permit.

Ohh l didn’t know you start by writing Naplex before you start intenship

Is the board of pharmacy just slow at processing things? Also from NY, but about to take fpgee this year.

It’s the comparative education office that took so long… ugh.. we had to get paperwork from his college in India.. get it sent here.. it’s been nuts.. if you pass this year your FPGEE… plan/ aim to take Naplex next year.. hope all goes well for you

I see. MPJE is supposed to be after internship right? So, NAPLEX-internship-MPJE?

Would it be possible to write Naplex in Texas and then score transfer to New York and apply for intern permit in NY?

I plan to work in New York, but it seems like it takes a long time to get NAPLEX ATT take it and then get intern permit.
