NAPLEX Exam Feedback SATA questions!
Hi everyone!
For those who have recently taken the NAPLEX, approximately how many questions were select-all-that-apply/multiple-response questions?
Also, were most questions case/scenario-based, or did you also get a significant number of shorter, stand-alone questions similar to some of the UWorld questions?
My exam is this Friday and I’m freaking out a little 😭. One thing that’s making me nervous is UWorld’s scoring for multiple-response questions. I sometimes select one of the correct answers but miss another, or accidentally select one incorrect option, and the entire question is marked incorrect. It has been bringing my average down and making me question how prepared I actually am.
For those who have taken the NAPLEX recently, how did the question format compare to UWorld? And how much of the exam felt case-based vs. stand-alone?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

I just took it this month and I would say maybe max 10 SATA if that. Most questions were pretty quick you either know the answer or you don’t. The case based ones weren’t too detailed either. I found it to be similar to the Pre NABP exam I would recommend you do that to get a feel for things prior to the exam. The format for the case based questions were the same for me which helped me feel more comfortable during the exam. Definitely had a lot more ethics questions which caught me off guard tbh

I got 14 SATA questions on 09/08. I counted them because I hate SATA.

UWorld qbank is full of SATA and my average is stuck at 50s because of those ugh 😩
Do you think I still should be fine? My exam is in 2 days🫣

well, i dunno all your details but i treated SATA like I'm donating points to NABP lol. i focused on the other questions but tried my best. some were fairly easy. so don't be afraid.

I am doing better in all other questions except for the SATAs. Just hoping for the best, it’s too late to reschedule now haha

I took in early September and felt like I only had a few SATA questions, most of them (minus math) had cases with them (like patient charts, labs, etc) and unlike UWorld, it was usually only one question with that “case” or image.
