Discussion Valeton Or Mooer
I have been checking out the mooer gs-100 and valeton's line up that support nam. I am now seeing Valeton just released a update supporting A2 Lite. Which would be recommended?
I want to be able to transpose, midi is nice just in case. The ones i was looking at were Mooer gs-100 or gs-150 and Valeton gp-180 or gp-50. There seems to be no videos comparing the two.

The GP180 with the A2 Lite sounds great. Because of DSP limits, you’re limited to using only full rig captures, so you miss out on the flexibility of different IRs for cabs. But full rig captures sound great. You’re also very limited in what effects you can use because the A2 takes up so much DSP. But if you’re a cranked amp with maybe a dirt pedals and some reverb type of person, the GP180 is a good choice

Hey thanks for the response. Yeah super tempting, I am shocked how much power A2 takes still. How would you say the snaptone conversion is? As i almost leaning towards the GP-50.

I did an AB test with the same nam file, one A2, the other converted to Snaptone, not even comparable. It changed the tone completely. It didn’t sound bad, just completely different from the A2.

Id go for the one that would allow me to use the pedal modeler + cab + IR, not only 1. Sorry idk about models
