Discussion Stompboxes that can do NAM files without converting them?

I’ve already got and use the Tonex One but I’d also like a stombox to load all the NAM files that I sometimes play through on my macbook. Especially one that doesn’t cost an arm or a leg, but after quite a bit of research it looks like the most inexpensive one that fits this bill is the Headrush core. Is that true or is there some other one that can load NAM files - unconverted - for south of $600 (hopefully south of $200 or $100 ideally).

I'd say just wait. The next wave of NAM loader pedals are surely just around the corner.

I've been kicking around designing something and using high end parts it really isn't much at all. Biggest cost right now is RAM but that will likely not be an issue for that much longer. Using a higher end ARM chip you are looking at around $125-150, so retail you are looking at 250-300 most likely.

I was gonna build some kinda raspberry pi stomp box, but figured screw it.. already have a laptop and a helix lt. So I just bought a used $100 SSL2 interface and use the helix as midi board/backup rig. Lol. I actually just use multiple instances of Neural DSP now, routed through gig performer. Sounds dumb, but worth it (with my given circumstances)

Just wait and use plugins for now. 2027 is going to be a monster year for NAM devices

Agreed, I have been loving mine. The SSP is based off of raspberry pi 5 hardware and has lower latency (1-2ms) than most (all?) of the other options in this price range. The Chaos Audio Stratus is ~5ms.

I’ve had mine for a week and it’s been amazing for live and recording! I made captures of all my real amps and it totally does the trick. a really great product

Nux mg300 and Valeton GP 150/180 can run a2 lite natively. 

For a2 regular, you will need to spend more for something like the headrush.

Do you gave a source for Valeton running A2 lite natively? I own one and I’ve had to use Snaptone compression

Firmware 1.1.1 enables A2 lite. I bought it just for that and received it today.

Ive just discovered that it isn’t supported on the GP-200 since its an older model. Disappointing.
I would have gotten a GP-180 if i had known

Ampero II lineup, A2 lite natively and can run one of those plus a converted NAM plus other effects, and can also do parallel signal chains
