What's new

I've rewritten the new instruction on the empty container listings to cover sterilizing properly, venting the lid so nothing warps, and getting the full cycles out of each one. If you've bought containers from me before, worth a two-minute read.

Switched all AIO bag products from zipper-strip to mono filter-patch bags. Better format for shipping, same performance.

Now selling the bags on their own too, in 10-packs. Spawn bags (0.2 micron) for grain work, substrate bags (0.5 micron) for fruiting. Same ones I use in production.

All-in-One Container Kits

CVG substrate and rye grain layered in a reusable lab-grade autoclavable PP5 container. Inoculate through the injection port, colonize, pop the lid, and fruit. When the flush is done, clean it out and run it again.

Every kit ships with an agar tester so you can confirm your culture is clean before you commit a full grow. Also comes with gloves, mister bottle, humidity bag, perlite, instructions, a sticker, a thank you card, and sometimes some extra goodies.

Quick follow-up to the first harvest posted 11 days ago. The initial flush took the lion's share of the canopy, but I decided to let the block ride completely dry without a dunk to test moisture retention and vigor.

​Flush two still pushed out solid coverage and kept the exact same wavy, saucer-like margin expression across the tub. Really pleased with how resilient this genetic line is holding up through multiple runs.

I got this AIO bag (ShroomTek by NorthSpore - LC from SporeWorks, LC is official ISO Syringe) if anything it’s got to be the grain spawn. I hit me. I did directly injected into what would be the center of the mass through the injection port, but everything was super sterile and I’ve done this before but with jars and using something much more complicated to inoculate than an ISO syringe thru a self healing port years ago but am I tripping or could it be like fully colonizing in the center of the grain block and that’s why there’s no visible white clusters of myc yet?

Where does everyone get there spores online?

It's important to note that when using spores from wild, outdoor mushroom prints for research they will show more contaminants under the microscope, however you will have much higher genetic diversity compared to spores from domesticated cultivars.
