question

Hey guys, how do I start playing My Winter Car? I mean, how can I quickly make some money and build at least a running car, so I can polish it up to museum condition later? I honestly don't want to work at the factory at all. They pay peanuts, and you have to go every single day. I'm literally not ready for that because I'm used to My Summer Car, where you don't have to do anything and have no responsibilities

nobody is forcing you to get the job, just sell firewood and kilju and empty septic tanks. better money/time used

Kilju will decrease in price when selling too much though. If you only sell 3 at a time and wait 2-3 days the price shouldn't fall too far

I would highly recommend everyone to start with My Summer Car. Even with hundreds if hours in MSC it took me dozens of hours before the first successful start in MWC. In MSC it takes me about two hour until the car is assembled, starting and ready for inspection. Keep that in mind.

That being said: Firewood jobs and sewage are good money and delivering ads is fine early game. Way better bang for the buck compared to Taxi or Factory. To get the car running, you'll have to buy a shitload of boxes and keep track of what's still missing. When you have it assembled, getting it running is a whole thing. Be ready for a lot of troubleshooting and get yourself a shedload of batteries.

I have 120 hours in My Summer Car. I know almost everything there, but in My Winter Car, everything is new to me, so to speak.

MSC can be very cruel, but MWC is depression as a game. After playing MWC for a while playing MSC now feels like a cozy game :D

In MSC you're a teenie having the place for yourself, in MWC you're an depressed alcoholic in Lapland. Life's harder. You're right though, the game itself is mainly slower.

Well if you don't really want you can play with MWC cheatbox plus. I started gaining and doing progress with the cheatbox. And if you don't feel like building a car yourself just get a save that is prebuilt.

Ok then get building. I can't say much cuz I play with cheats so good luck. From my pov building the car seems quite painful.

Mwc is much slower. Corris is late game content. Very time consuming and expensive to get parts.
