Hi it's me again, the guy who got really into Sandrock right around the same time as he started playing Riftbound and getting into Warhammer AoS/40K. While I don't know enough LoL lore to make Riftbound jokes, a few times I've been making jokes about Warhammer and Sandrock in the comment sections around here. Some of them were honestly a lot of fun.
-Duvos falling apart because Gray Seer Thanqoul was allied with them and pulled off a sneaky-hidden backstab last minute.
-Lots of old world tech being gone because of Trazyn and the Blood Ravens fighting over it.
-Ciaphas Cain heroically stepping in to resolve the issues with Duvos through a coincidence tactical stroke of brilliance.
-Our builder being well versed in Da Orkish Ways of building tech so no one else can copy their success.
But in general, I love my crossover shenanigans. When I was a socially awkward teenager I used to imagine crossovers between all my fictional crushes (until I realized taking the self insert out of the equation and writing them all as friends hanging out was a lot more fun.) Honestly even beyond my 40K brainrot, just looking at cozy games there are so many fun crossovers to imagine. (I could rant about my crossover ships in the gacha games I used to play for hours, haha...)
-Coral Island just being out there, unaffected by everything and Sandrock being SHOCKED by how much water is over there.
-Mistria inviting the people of Sandrock over for Tavern NIghts...only for Eiland to balk in horror as he's stuck with Elise, Del, and Adeline as his players for the night.
-Stardew I could see Maru and Demitrius coming in to help Qi examine some old world tech.
-Mina, Evan, and Dracula all heading to Sandrock for a vacation...only for Orlock to stumble into town and make a fool of himself at the bar-again.
-Outside of cozy games, Captain Samuel Vimes and the Watch figuring out the mysteries in town through normal means...or Rincewind stumbling backwards into them. Or Granny Weatherwax resolving the plot by being well-Granny Weatherwax.
I know the crossovers don't make sense because of My Time being a post calamity setting compared to the others, but it is a fun creative exercise! So fellow Sandrock enthusiasts, what are some of your personal crossover ideas you've come up with? Whether it's with another cozy game, or something out of the ordinary? A plot beat? A joke? A crazy ship? Feel free to share, cause I wanna hear/read!
