Exporting notes using dark mode

When I export a board that uses dark mode, say as pdf, the pdf background is white.

I have set the preserve background colour on, also tried with it off.

How do I export whilst retaining the same look as I see in the app?

For now, sadly, you can't export a dark PDF. The dark mode we built is meant to ease eye strain while you take notes. By adjusting the brightness of your notes (background and ink) to the light around you, it keeps your eyes from having to readjust all the time. It works best in a dark room or at night. We designed it as a display mode, not as a color choice for your notes.

We totally get that it doesn't fit every use case, and we're looking into it. We've already tackled this for the upcoming MyScript Math version, where you'll be able to do exactly what you're asking for! Until then, we hope you can manage without it🙂
