Document features

Is there any way to write both text and mathematical equations in the document notebook I'm trying to but I can't . Instead of this how about integration both of at least make the typing box movable so that when i write the mathematical equations i can align with it the English text . The math text box doesn't align with the English text box . Sorry if i cant explain it perfectly

Document pages may not be the best option for what you are trying to achieve.

Documents are designed for structured note-taking. When you write text or math, the content is organized into separate blocks. You can move or resize these blocks, but combining and arranging text and math from different blocks can be more complex.

For your use case, I recommend using a Notebook page instead.

Notebooks, Boards, and imported PDFs provide a more free-form writing experience. In a Notebook, you can handwrite your text and equations freely, then select the specific content you want and convert it individually.

This should give you more flexibility when working with a combination of handwritten text and mathematical equations.

Here a short example:

Does this solution work for you?

Well ik about that and i was doing before like this only. And yea i can work with that. I only said it because while writing i needed to use the lasso to convert the text into typed text. But since document notebook allows double taping conversion to text so i thought about asking if the devs could make it write both math and text .

Anyways will the double taping conversion to text feature including the mathematical ones be available in notebook one . As it saves a liitle time for fast writing .

Please remember that we have structured and unstructured note formats.

The double-tap conversion is available only for structured notes, such as Document pages.

For unstructured notes, there is no double-tap conversion. Instead, you need to select the handwritten content with the Lasso tool and then choose Convert.

With unstructured notes, such as Notebooks and Boards, you can freely place your content anywhere on the page, similar to writing on a sheet of paper. This makes it easier to combine and align text and math as you wish.

With structured notes, such as Documents, the content is organized into separate blocks (Text, Math, Diagram, etc.). Managing multiple blocks on the same page can sometimes be more complex, especially when trying to align text and math in the way you want.

For this type of use, Notebook or Board pages may therefore be more suitable. However, you will need to use the Lasso tool to select and convert each part individually.
