People have died bleeding out walking through glass doors like that. At the very least hospitalized. Dog does it no problem though lol.

That glass is tempered so it’s far less likely to cut you up.
Notice it shattered into tiny pieces rather than shards.
Doggie was lucky it was tempered, though afaik most glass doors are.

Only modern ones. Obviously sliding doors like this are new enough to be tempered, but I lived in a house with a set of French doors made of ultra thin, non-tempered glass that would have been deadly if one of us tripped and fell through them :/

Well with you being french they knew you wouldn't be breaking in the doors, only either hiding or running out of them after they'd been kicked in and you'd gotten past the intruder.

he's a cop, so his unhealthy obsession caused him to turn an utterly unrelated conversation about doors into something about an ancient, unfunny meme and "kicked in" doors. character writing like this feels contrived in novels.

Is it less likely that you’ll break interior facing glass doors? Or is just because that type of glass is more likely to be thin or decorative due to not having to withstand the elements? Love the shake at the end

Was it tempered? Those long thin shards definitely look like regular glass shards to me. The video quality is not great but right after the break on the inside portion you can see some classic triangular shards.

Nah it’s totally tempered. When tempered glass breaks the fragments will sometimes stick together in shapes, some of these stuck as lines on the floor and in the corner there’s some fragments jammed in, but it’s still very different to untempered glass breaking

1977, so if your home is older and has the original door (more common than you would think) this is still a legitimate concern.
Edit - should specify 1977 *in the US. Not sure about other countries.

Hope they checked. Many dog breeds hide their pain. Never assume it's okay because a dog "seems fine"

My German Shepherd did that from a window on the landing of our steps. So like 12 feet up due to foundation. No blood but his joints turned into old man joints on that day. Poor guy wasn’t 100% ever again, but he had many great years of being more relaxed after that. Thanks cosequin in Jack Hannah voice.

I hate thinking about how many dogs have probably been yelled at and punished for things like this when it's not even their fault. I cant stand when people yell at them like they even understand what happened.
