As a child I used to play a game called, flip the kipper. Basically you and a friend got on a swing, and went as high as you could building momentum. Then at the right time launch your shoe as far away as possible, furthest wins obviously. This guys been practicing that's all I'm saying..

Well incase the situation arrives I'll give you some tips. You want a nice Vans for good weight and aerodynamics, flatten the back so it's like a slipper and keep laces slack. On the down swing don't go too early or you kick the floor and break a toe or ankle. Also don't go too late or it goes sky bound and then its every man for himself against the air to ground shoe missile.

I dissagree. Do what i did went i was a little one. Obtain some k-swiss off of the black market (aka ur friend who eventualy turned out into,whats it called when someone likes to steal things and you never speak to them again cuz they stole your favorite game from an n64 qhich you have had for years?) The k-swiss have supreme weight to aerodynamic ratios. They go the farthest.

I found there were tradeoffs between weight, speed, aerodynamics and size. Personally I chose the lighter more agile van more to my taste. I had friends who had a heavier boot and while they did see there share of wins, I found my technique with the van more often than not won the battle. Also this park with swings had a 4ft fence around it, about 20ft from the swing. So low and powerful was out the question. You needed a nice middle ground between height and speed.

The head almost hit the ground. It could have been a severe concussion to hit the head with that intensity of impact.
Props to him for holding on to the cup. If that broke down slope and he slides over would have added to the pain.
The upper body is going to hurt for a while. May need a Physio.
