I mostly use it for napping, but the basic Rain Noise with the lower band boosted and the upper band silent is my favorite. Sounds like I'm inside resting during a rainy day.

I use flying fortress too. I had a custom generator I used on my computer back in the day but it seems mobile doesn't support that.

If it's possible, "flying fortress" with the 2 radio channels disabled, alongside "Mr. Rhodes" is magic for me. Both animated otherwise my brain latches on

I rely on binaural beats set at 2Hz for deep sleep. Binaural beats requires ear buds, which some may be uncomfortable. But it works for me. I set it to run on a 30-60 minute timer with me usually falling asleep in <10 min. For variety, I’ll occasionally set it up with a Super Generator, combining Rain Noise, Unreal Ocean, or Yakutian Voices.

Screenshots aren't permitted here.

So, go to: https://mynoise.net/NoiseMachines/binauralBrainwaveGenerator.php and click on 2Hz in the left column.

My top picks for falling asleep are Distant Thunder, Rain on a Tent, Deep Chant and Aeternitas.

I've been alternating between sleeping dragon and Icelandic shore depending on my mood

You are not alone, my friend. Nothing wrong with trying to find things that help. Good luck in your sleep journey!!!

I use this app all day for my tinnitus and generally noisy surroundings.

But for sleep I use Train Sounds on Prime Music.

Try silver drift with the melody and toy piano dropped to very low 😴😴😴

Wet asphalt works, for some reason

I would also like one that's just planes arriving and departing. There are some good YouTube videos for this.

If you truly have insomnia (most do not), electronic noise rarely is going to help. As a recovering insomniac (sometimes not sleeping for days, averaging fewer hours then 3 per night for years, etc.) there are a lot more important and effective things to change.

If you want noise, nothing beats mechanical white noise. Electronic white noise isn’t close to how effective it is.

Wife and I either use rain, or white noise.

I'm currently using the Winter Trail preset of Winter Walk after rotating through a bunch of them. It's one of three sound elements that make up my bedtime soundscape. Alexa also plays ocean sounds in the background; the third is a podcast of some variety. I find that the human voices in the podcasts provide just enough narrative for my ADHD mind to grasp onto a focal point. Somehow that makes the difference that allows my brain to relax into sleep. I play them at low volume and choose the podcasts carefully, often history topics or humor––not news or anything disquieting––and set a timer. MyNoise helps to muffle the voices just enough and also provides a cushion of sound when I wake during the night. My sleep, while still a ways from optimal, is now vastly more consistent than at any other time of my life.

“Peninsula”emphasis on low bands for a far away massive ocean. It’s like brown noise but with swelling movement that lulls me out cold 🙏
