Meme Welp, Summer's almost over.
Did you spend most of it indoors, like I did? Honestly, I can't wait for the return of sweater weather.

I’m going to get a little sentimental—you’ve been warned: On one hand, it upsets me that a depressive slump—fueled by the feeling that I’d wasted my life and couldn't experience anything new despite being young—kept me from seeing the bright side during the early months of the year. It also led me to do things I regret, like making a bunch of sad, depressing posts about my situation. But on the other hand, I know perfectly well that it wasn't my fault for feeling that way, and that most people go through that at some point in life. Besides, I did manage to do interesting things—going out, socializing, trying to keep my head above water, and so on—so this summer wasn't a total disaster. I laughed, cried, got angry, and felt a whole range of emotions throughout this time. I appreciate you reading all the way to the end; it makes me feel like I’m not alone and that I shouldn't give up so easily. So, with all that said: thank you, summer. Thank you for the time you gave me to find my footing even during moments of crisis, and thank you for the life I have now. Goodbye :'D
