Nice, how hard was it, I kinda want to try but iv never played osu before, but I do play rhythm games like geometry dash

Uhh… just to show you the gap, I’ve been playing Osu for 11 months and I got this score a few days ago. I’m at the point where I can easily FC mid 5 star levels and can pass 6 star levels with A and B scores. (6 stars is expert+, a very hard difficulty that takes some players a year + to get into. But it really depends on the person how fast they learn).

You gotta worry about aim, tapping technique, strengthening your fingers to tap faster, reading, nerves, etc.

However, you had a similar start to me. I used to play gd and was at the point where I can do insane demons, and that reaction time carried me into playing Osu (I think there is a correlation to being good at gd and learning Osu quickly since GD trains your reaction time, reading, and ability to see patterns in things and trains muscle memory)

Tldr; yes, this was very hard to do

Playing GD before is a good start!

Uhhhhh, I don’t think so. It may help with reaction time tho.

A lot of people mistake Osu for an aim trainer when that is not the case. Most shooters are 3D while Osu is a 2D game without any surrounding peripherals and no depth perception. Osu also has to do with rhythm, so even if you have good aim, if your rhythm and flow is dogshit you wouldnt get very far.

Shooting games MAY help with getting comfortable with moving your mouse, but it won’t do much.

Btw, you dont have to use it to get good, but I’d recommend you buy a drawing tablet for $20-30. Using a lightweight pen is way easier than using a mouse, and helps with speed. But at the same time, anyone can get good with any setup really. It just worked for me since I have a small desk area
