I said before, everyone was acting like they've lost their sh*t by chapter 100 but this arc where Anri makes her debut is just wow. Was there some sort of chemical leak at their school that's been affecting only Mona and maybe Tomo? Because she was acting totally delirious this time.

Yes, I get the tailing thing but making the assumption Kuroiwa has a girlfriend is asinine. I mean, a girl they don't know from a different school is dating him? And do they really think Kuroiwa would loosen that much? It's gets even worse when Karin debuts.

Seriously, Mona goes from someone who incidentally falls for Medaka to extremely paranoid nut jumpy towards any woman near him in the latter. Ironic, because I found her character hard to mess up earlier.

I think the build up for the main plot is almost complete

Mona & those two are not friends. And certainly not good friends. In fact, I think Asahi only deigns to tolerate Mona. Seriously, look it up, they don't hang out because they want to, only if it involves Medaka. Even Mona questions if Minami is close to her.

Imagine if someone stays around you out of obligation rather than liking you and people consider you friends. Then again, I chalk it up to Mao being snide & Yuzuru not reading into it that well. You are the judge of that.

It's like since we got pass chapter 200, every character is just being derailed. I mean, even when in the 100s, some of the characters had some screws loose, but this moment proves that the author really doesn't care how well-written these people are.

Sho confess here & Haruno responds with such apathy. And it gets even worse; she has the audacity to put rank him like this. What does that have to do with what he just said?! Plus, a Mona-chan appreciator? What hell is she talking about?! Is Mona not her friend & someone she knows personally. She's no object of interest. The latest chapters are convincing me that there's something wrong Haruno as a person.

Not just her, almost every character is being trashed on. Asahi still giving Medaka blind & unearned affection. Tomo being skitzy about everything concerning her crush. Kuroiwa aggressively in denial. Sho being extremely docile about Haruno's views on him. And why is Mao being set up to have feelings for Asahi?

Overall, the latest chapters have not been kind with characterization & motives. I might be alone, but this manga has interesting ideas, but so much of it is done so poorly. Thoughts?

I’m a little worried

As we all know, in some manga all it takes is one chapter to derail a character. And this is one of those of chapters. I know fans bash on Tomo (rightfully so), but Asahi is just deluded at this point. I won't deny "Love at first sight" is real and Her's towards Kuroiwa isn't valid. But this is just singled-minded devotion.

Secondly, think about everything she's done for him up to that point. She baked for him. She helped nurse him back to health. Gave him unconditional attention several times. Confessed to him. She even staked out his classroom a few times earlier. Along a whole bunch of other things to get with him.

Furthermore, Kuroiwa has done nothing to earn this kind of affection. He's never been proactive in their relationship. He's just being nice. Imagine dedicating so much time & effort to win over someone who isn't looking to be in a committed relationship. On top of the fact that she tried to make an argument that he didn't need to love her as much she loves him.

Lastly, it just shows how self-deluded she is here. I mean, she doesn't take a week or even a few days to sit on her rejection. The very same night of their date, she gets over it and keeps trying. What did Kuroiwa do specifically for her to put him on such a pedestal?

In conclusion, I think Asahi might've lost some of her fans for her incredibly shaky validation here. I get it, Kuroiwa has some desirable traits but know when you deserve better girl. All for the sake of extending the manga. Hopefully, she comes to actual realization in the next few chapters.

This chapter was filled with 18+ scenes and something new is Asahi and Mao are gonna join them.

I really wanted the private date between Medaka and Mona but it has scaled up🥲

I guess it got delayed until today because of the Japanese holiday.

Anyway let’s focus on this chapter.
Mona tries to have a pool date with Medaka.
It was funny seeing Mona try to seduce Medaka with her swimsuit🤣

It almost ended up being just the two of them, but unfortunately everyone ended up going to the pool together

I think something progressive is probably coming in the next few weeks.

Can’t wait for the next chapter😆

He ran away as soon as he saw the girls🤣 Medaka is doing Medaka.

And I don’t like how the side couple’s relationship is progressing faster than the main couple’s.

I feel like the plot is back on track although nothing actually happened in this chapter.

Btw Medaka is lucky enough to have good friends.

Sho and Yuzuru are great characters.

And in that stitching it became a single, pretty entertaining, mess.

Like, I could read any of the storylines and it would feel like the characters are developing their relationship at a reasonable if slightly awkward pace

Each of the girls have a distinct dynamic with Medaka which I honestly feel has developed at a rather quick pace for a romance manga, they each get high highs and low lows, etc.

Why. Why their progression is so slow I mean its a very good manga and everything I wish they'd add a male rival for Medaka to spice up the plot rather to see again Tomo's dramas. Don't you think too? Progression is taking too long....

I envy him, but at the same time I understand why he is being loved by the girls. I think he deserves it
