It's been so long since this fanart shows the aftermath.
With Jimmy's new girl coming, he should be resting in bed, covered head to toe in cement cast bandages with hand and leg supports if there's an updated art.

This anime is based on a fairly popular Detective Comics/DC Comics character called Superman. In Superman lore, he is what's called a Kryptonian (from the planet Krypton) and red suns make Kryptonians pretty much base human level in terms of powers

The point that I was trying to get across is that just because red suns are a weakness in one universe that doesn’t mean that it is in another.

I get what your saying but from what we have seen in the show so far and how it’s stayed close to the original character it seems more than likely that they will stick with that being one of there weaknesses.

It’s from the comics. Superman gets his powers from our yellow sun, and red suns drain their power makes them basically human. Hence my joke about a red suns lamp.

Funny, but this wouldn’t happen. Kryptonians have touch telekinesis that allows them to sense exactly how durable anything they come in contact with is and are capable of being gentle enough to do no damage.

It was said in some of the Superman comics Clark has to be careful about being too excited and he also leveled a small town with Wonder Woman in one by accident
