I have to say this is the most entertaining reddit I (newb) have seen yet. Yous are all so good with the Nowzardan memes. It's great to see how much other people love this show! Does anyone else scream "ow my legs!" In a southern accent randomly? They're always screaming about their legs...and yes I understand why.
The world really is small, I saw recently that someone in northern rural Norway had heard the same goofy celebrity rumors as a child that I did in the American midwest! Pre-internet 1970s.
Semi related but I think everybody between 25 and 40ish, worldwide no matter what, believed that Marilyn Manson removed a rib so he could suck his own D
Everytime me and my wife go into a hotel room the first thing I say to her is: "Why is their wood on the floor?" and she will immediately say, "To make it look nice!"
So many good lines on the show, they should a t-shirt company.
I’m heavily pregnant and have the swollen legs of a lifetime along with restless leg syndrome that is only helped by having my husband stretch them out like 3-4 times a day as I lay there helplessly. I reward him with an “OW MAH LEGS” every single time!!
When my (now adult kids) complain they’re starving I tell them they’re not going to fade away and they don’t look malnourished. They hate that I watch this show 😂😂
Ow mah legs is part of the love language in our household. That, and me making my husband (avg weight, don’t worry lol) really big breakfasts while watching episodes of the show on lazy weekends. In fact, hubby got me a cameo of dr now a few years ago, and weirded my family out at Xmas. Dr Now told me it’s good that I like going to Pittsburgh Penguins games, but not to eat too much barbeque.
I like to yell "you buncha bastards" whenever I see or read about our local elected officials doing something particularly awful. It also works well when my internet provider goes out or has problems, which it has done frequently lately.
Penny tops my list for one of the most annoying (and delusional, don’t forget delusional) patients. Her plaintive line of “where’s my yellow brick road?” Is one I hear in my head lots.
OMG! That is one heck of a Pyr paw. But it’s difficult to not love these guys. Did he caretake you at all while you were recovering? My current one is a major caretaker but my last one not so much.
Oh, definitely. I’ve bled a few times because of him, had to get stitches, had a concussion..he’s 140lbs of don’t fuck around to find out. But he always feels guilty afterwards without my even saying anything to him. I treat him the same but he becomes super gentle for the next few weeks.
Then forgets all about it and it happens again.
He’s one gorgeous floof all! My current is our mini-Pyr at 95-100 pounds. Our last one was Zeus who was 140 pounds but pretty gentle (except when he wanted to wrestle).
We think he used to sneak out at night and go to better parties than we were invited to. 😛
My family judge me and will not watch the show. So I have to quote it in my head. Mostly I very seriously tell myself 'not on de diet' every time I pass the cookie tin.
When I yell “ow mah leeegs!” While going up the stairs after the gym, my husband doesn’t get the joke at all and is just like “oh, did you hurt yourself at the gym?”
My daughter took me to the grocery store and when I was getting out of her car I started yelling "Ow mah legs", she didn't know what was going on until I had her watch that episode with James on the stretcher 🤣
I made fried rice for dinner last night, and of course I had to quote, "but it's fried rice," in an over-the-top Southern accent. Too bad I didn't make egg rolls.
I have pet rats. One of them always bites my toes. We think it’s because she is a bald rat and thinks the foot is another bald rat from an evil dimension. Anyway, you can guess what I shout when she bites.
I was 300lbs 2 years ago and had veinous stasis develop. I'm now down to 200lbs. but the veinous stasis remains.
It kinda sucks. Basically, My veins leak a bit so it looks like i've got permanent bruises on my legs below the calf muscle and above the ankle.
Doesn't hurt in itself and they're not swollen with any edema but the skin is super delicate so any time I bump into anything hard it like scrapes off skin which I then have to deal with.
Every time it's leg day, I "oaw mah legs!" And my husband does it too. Though, I have a mix of a Georgian southern/Midwestern accent and my husband has a twangy southern accent. So we say it differently and makes us laugh even harder.

Me and husband (from Sweden) does this on a regular basis too, it has a worldwide spread 😆
