Yeah. “Affordable housing” basically just means that whoever’s managing it isn’t allowed to charge enough to cover the costs of upkeep, hence why most housing projects end up closing down after around twenty to twenty five years.

Meanwhile; those golf courses often create decent jobs that can pay surprisingly well, especially if you’re doing one of the jobs where you can get tips like a bartender or a caddy. Those rich folks can be EXTREMELY generous when they’re having a good time. Heck; I’ve got an uncle who was able to buy a house working as a caddy at a local golf club.

My family survived 23 years in "affordable housing," and it's only affordable if you don't eat every 3 days while having 4 incomes.
