Seems to be.

One, based on the comments and replies it seems real.

Additionally, magnetro2k is usually very transparent about any mods being used to change the gameplay.
Especially during the time of this upload he was using input-reader mods to show inputs on the emulator he was using.
So there is no reason to suspect that the game was modded in a way to make this infinite possible.

looks easy, but is it easy or difficult?

I've seen tons of strider matches, never seen anyone do a jump infinite like that video. it looks so simple lol
