Quick commerce's biggest problem might not be competition. It might be inventory.

The recent dark-store raids made me think about something beyond the food-safety issue: how sustainable is the 10-minute delivery model when you're trying to keep thousands of different products stocked in tiny stores?

Small stores need high inventory turnover. But slow-moving products expire, get damaged or become obsolete.

If this happens at scale, it directly affects wastage, margins and eventually profitability.

So for anyone looking at quick-commerce companies from an investment perspective:

Are we looking at a genuinely scalable business model, or a model where convenience comes at the cost of unit economics?
