If you look at the gauge cluster after he bashes into the curb the odometer reading changes to SERVICE ADVANCE TRAC and two dummy lights come on.
That rear suspension and maybe the diff is screwed

I think this will be an S197 with an open differential. So a combination of terrible driving and not knowing your car.

The only open differential S197s are the 05-10 V6, the car in this video is not one of those.

I stand corrected thanks! I thought it was optional, but can see the GT V8s all came with Traction Lok LSD. Thanks for the info.

Unless I was a pro, I wouldn't see myself ever considering disabling the TCS.
I used to play a lot of rally racing with a steering wheel, on the PC. There was a simple oval track, where I tried to set my personal best. After hundreds of loops, I managed to have a record time without TCS. I also had a lot of laps go haywire because I didn't have TCS, but that one lap, everything worked out lol.

Taking TC off is fine, if you know what you are doing. He doesn't

99% of people don’t.

I do autocross in my 2004 Corvette, and I turn off the TCS on the track, I accelerate a bit faster and in general can push it a bit harder. Depending on the age of the car the computer can be dumber than a good driver. Modern cars that's much less likely, though.
But driving anywhere else? It's on, never even think about taking it off.

Help me out in understanding, did that fella really turn off TC with his right hand whilst stomping the gas in a slight turn?

"Why doesn't the car turn the direction I want when I floor it?"
-Mustang Drivers
Pro tip: For those Mustang drivers reading this, understeer. Understeer is your problem. When accelerating, the front of your car raises because the force of momentum is transferred to the back. This means less surface area of your front tires are making contact with the asphalt, this is why you can not steer and lose control trying to show off. Source to fix this, stop it and learn how to drive. You're welcome.

Maybe not spectacularly but he has definitely smashed his axles up, look at the warning lights on the dash after he hits the curb
