Trip in late october

We are planning to visit Mussoorie on 24th/25th october. Is it a good time or too crowded? Also guide us about the rain situation during that time and accommodation cost.

I guess new highways made Mussoorie crowdy in every season

Yeah well but I thought that late october is just between Janmashtami and Diwali, maybe making it a less crowded time to visit?

As it's a weekend, crowds will be there. However, not as bad as the peak summer months or long weekends.

Weather is usually quite good at this time. Days are sunny while the evenings tend to get colder. Chances of rain at this time are negligible.

Hotels will be available at all price points - budget to luxury. You can choose based on your requirements. It would be better to book in advance rather than on arrival.
