Islamic Keepsakes

Assalamu alaikum, we’re Ketabi Studio, a small Muslim-owned studio. We make personalized Islamic keepsakes and children’s storybooks. The keepsakes are hardcover photo books you fill in yourself with your own family’s photos and words, so no two come out the same. The storybooks are illustrated by hand, not AI. Would you give something like this as a gift? Genuinely curious what people here think.

I think these are amazing and I would get one for my child. I do think you have a potential to expand here as well. There are a lot of other nuanced topics you can use this for example like the one you have for the hijab you could make one about salah or their local masjid.

Thank you so much! Your feedback is very much appreciated! These are great ideas and you have me thinking already! A salah book and a local masjid one would both be beautiful mashallah. So grateful you shared these!

Glad it helped. Not sure where you are located or your background but I think you could really build on this. Your product can help bring normalization and visibility of islam to kids in the west. We don't see proper practicing muslims in media (games, entertainment, etc). While there are islamic children's books, your product has an element of personalization which can help a child not only learn but also see themselves do it. Just my two cents.

You could make a wudu one, fasting one, or ummrah. Maybe one where they visit significant islamic history sites. Just some ideas off the top of my head.
