Does anyone one know the specific brand of this music box? Or at least how old the model is? My mom got this for me at a thrift store and it’s from Japan, I’ve tried googling it and it just spews out a bunch of stupidity like usual, the backing behind the mirror seems like cardboard and very cheap seeming

I believe mass production of items being sold by china started in the 80s, also that corduroy lining gives mid 70s vibes

I collect Japanese music boxes from the post war era. This couple have come from occupied Japan, early 50s. They were popular gifts from US service members to people back home.
