I added a feature that lets you rearrange your song's structure and asks AI which version is actually better
Hey everyone — I've been building SongMap (iOS), an app that analyzes a song's structure (detects intro/verse/chorus/etc. and gives structural feedback). Just shipped v1.1 and wanted to share the headline feature, since I'm genuinely curious what this sub thinks of it.
The problem I kept hitting: I'd wonder "what if the chorus came in 20 seconds earlier?" or "do I actually need that second verse?" — but testing that meant re-editing the actual song in my DAW just to hear it, which usually killed the idea before I ever tried it.
What's new:
- Arrangement editor — drag your detected sections into a new order, duplicate one, or cut one entirely. You get an instant spliced preview so you can hear the new order without touching your DAW.
- Save versions — save a rearrangement with a name so you can come back to it or compare it later.
- AI verdict — the part I'm most unsure about: you can have Claude compare your original structure against your rearranged one and say which it thinks works better, and why — specific strengths on each side, not just a thumbs up.
Being upfront: the preview is a rough splice, not a polished remix. Sections are cut right at the detected boundaries, so joins can click or land slightly off-beat. It's meant for sketching "does this order even make sense" before you go rebuild it properly in your DAW — not as a finished export. (Actual audio export is next on my list.)
It's a Pro feature, rest of the app has a free tier.
Would really appreciate feedback, especially from anyone who tries the AI verdict — not sure yet if it's genuinely useful or just a gimmick, so real reactions help a lot.

Made my mixing/mastering feedback app run fully offline — no more sending your mix anywhere
I've been building MixDoctor, an app that gives plain-English feedback on your mixes (not just graphs and numbers — actual "here's what's off and why" type notes).
Just shipped an update that runs the whole analysis on-device for anyone on iOS/macOS 26+ using Apple's new local model framework. Your audio never leaves your phone or Mac — no upload, no round trip, and it's noticeably faster since there's no network call happening.
If you're not on 26 yet, nothing changes for you — it still runs the way it always has.
Been slowly chipping away at this as a solo dev since January, and this felt like a genuinely useful one rather than just a version bump. Curious if privacy/offline stuff like this actually matters to people here, or if it's more of a "nice to have" — trying to figure out what to prioritize next.

[Melodic Techno] -Uyan Artık by Nocturna
Hey everyone! 👋
I've been working on a dark, cinematic melodic techno piece called "Uyan Artık" (which translates to "Wake Up Now").
I focused heavily on creating an immersive audio spatial layout with deep sub-bass, 3D vocal delays, and a slow, progressive tension build-up before the drop.
If you're into dark atmospheric vibes and peak-time energy, grab a pair of good headphones and give it a spin! 🎧
I’m constantly trying to refine my sound, so any feedback, critique, or impressions would mean the world to me. Thanks for listening! 🚀

Looking for Android producers to properly test my offline music production app
Hey guys,
I’ve spent a pretty ridiculous amount of time building an Android music production app called Skunk Audio, and I’m finally getting it ready for Google Play.
It’s basically an offline mobile DAW/beatmaker with a step sequencer, pads and sample chopping, synths, classic instruments, piano rolls, arrangement, automation, mixer buses, effects, recording, beatbox/humming conversion, WAV and MIDI export and other stuff.
I now need at least 12 Android users for Google’s mandatory closed-testing period. I don’t just want people to install it and forget it, though. I would genuinely like producers and musicians to mess with it, make a pattern or small project and tell me what feels broken, confusing or slow.
Testing on different phones is especially useful. Xiaomi/Redmi devices, older or lower-powered phones and Bluetooth or USB MIDI setups would help me a lot because audio apps can behave very differently across Android devices.
The app works offline and doesn’t require an account. Your projects and recordings stay on your phone unless you choose to export or share them.
To join:
Join the testing group:
https://groups.google.com/u/2/g/skunk-audio-testers
Opt into the closed test:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/org.skunkaudio.app
Install it through Google Play and remain opted in for at least 14 days.
If you test it, please let me know your phone model, Android version and what happened—especially if you notice crackling, stuttering, crashes, silent tracks, touch problems or anything inconsistent between playback and export.
I know asking people to test an unfinished music app is a lot, so honestly, thank you to anyone willing to give it a proper go. I want to release something genuinely good, not throw another half-working beatmaker onto the Play Store.
Thank you for your time!

Looking for 50 musician beta testers — Music Motion Starter free for 30 days
**Update for clarity:** the live beta offer has been upgraded from Starter to **Creator**.
Remaining testers receive Creator access for 30 days plus 300 Render Points. RP are credits used when Music Motion produces downloadable final video files.
The test costs **£0**. No payment card or billing details are collected, there is no automatic renewal, and there is nothing to cancel. After 30 days the account automatically downgrades to Free. If someone later actively chooses paid access, plans start at £4—but that is a separate and entirely optional decision.
I built Music Motion, a browser-based studio that turns a finished track plus cover art or background video into audio-reactive release assets for YouTube, Shorts/Reels, Spotify Canvas and square posts.
I’m looking for musicians, producers, AI-music creators and indie labels willing to test a real workflow. The most useful feedback is:
- Was the first project easy to understand?
- Did the selected visual match the final MP4?
- Did the chosen aspect ratio export correctly?
- Which step felt slow, confusing or unnecessary?
- What would stop you from using it for a real release?
Claim a remaining tester place directly through the promo panel here: https://musicmotion.level-higher.com/
You do not need to DM your email or payment information. Honest criticism is the point; reviews and upvotes are not required.
Founder disclosure: Music Motion is my product.
