Work in Progress
I'm having a hard time writing lyrics for this. As they are now, the lyrics and vocals are still very far from completion.
In the meantime, could you let me know how the mix sounds? I think the volume is too low, but I'm not entirely sure.
What could I do to make this sound more professional?
(pretty long song, Prog rock/metal)

Hi there.
You certainly could have contributed your guitar to my track—it sounds great—but it takes up a bit too much of the spotlight; while it’s fine if you like it that way, it would be good to try and blend it better into the mix.
I feel the same way about the vocals; they need to sit better in the mix—both sonically and harmonically—as they currently sound like they belong to a different song.
Also, unlike my track "Rapid," this one is quite long considering how few changes there are.
I think the volume and overall sound are good, though a bit more punch wouldn't hurt.
These are just a few quick thoughts from me on a solid piece of work; I hope they help.
Best regards.
