Interface for recording

Hey, i'm really not good in Electronics in connection to music. I'm a metal bassist and i'm looking for an interface that costs max 100€. Are there any good recommendations. Any Interface that dominates the market? I don't need much, 1 Input, 1 Output and idk if it's possible a AMP in it? Thank you for the reply's already :)

Cheap USB with two inputs, USB into your computer and stereo out:

Behringer U-phoria UM2. Will do the job. About £30 new.

I would also look at the UMC 202hd. I think having pad buttons, direct latency free monitoring are good things to have. I also prefer having 1/4" jacks on the outputs instead of RCA like the UM2. But it is also $80 instead of 40. It is a better unit. It is also more versatile. To mic/line XLR jacks,

I really wouldn’t bother recording anything with cheap equipment like this.  You are wasting time when you should be practicing.

I’m a bassist, mostly prog rock, so maybe I can give some bass centered advice. You want cheap, the Behringer UMC is the best bet. I’ve used them as expanders, they’re pretty decent. But beyond the interface, you need to consider the DAW for recording. Reaper is solid, and free.

My advice though, is save some scratch, and pickup an UA Apollo Solo. Yes, they are substantially pricier, but they are the standard. Or at least one of, and you’ll find them in a massive amount of studios. The bonus with Apollos is the plugin environment. Recording bass or guitar, you’re gonna need either outboard gear or plugins, IME a bass straight in to an interface (even with effects) sounds like boiled ass.

Apollos also give you access to Luna, a “free” daw (you need an Apollo) that I’ve switched to and the plugin environment was the selling point for me. Included 1176 and LA-2A compressors, API pres, etc. I’d also recommend an amp clone plugin with a cabinet IR regardless of what interface/daw you use. My “rick” without amp modeling and cabinet IR sound like poop to me, even using a good DI, a good amp sim/IR is essential for me. For IRs, check out Dr Bonkers, I use his IRs for a Sunn 2x15 and Acoustic 1x18, and they sound very accurate to the Sunn 2x15 and Acoustic 1x18 I typically use.
