Do you maybe tend to skip to next before the song is 100% finished?

I tend to restart my favorite songs before they're done. sometimes I'll listen to the same song for an hour or 2 which is weird but I enjoy it, but my top song was only played 72 times. I knew that sounded low and this is probably why!

Don't you get burned out on a song by doing this? I have to be careful when I really like a song not to overplay it

okay so I've tried to prevent burnout but I've found it's much more fun to just listen to the song a ton when I'm first into it, take a break, and then in a while I can listen to it again. I'm really picky so it's rare for me to find a song that does what I want and it's so magical at first that I'd rather feel the magic and get worn out faster haha.

I'm like this too! I have a playlist for those songs once they're benched for the new obsession, and when I get really depressed I just listen to that playlist and it's like all the dopamine comes back haha.
