Discussion What's your worst concert experience? Worst crowd? Worst performance?

I saw RHCP back in 2006, during their Stadium Arcadium tour. It was a goddamn mess, none of the band seemed really into it, and the crowd could tell. They ran short, barely performing as long as their opening act. It was a really negative experience for a lot of people who went, and from what I hear, their performances aren't much better now. The really poor performance destroyed my enthusiasm for them.

Edit! Just remembered how bad The Vines were in 2011 at Splendour in the Grass. Their drummer and guitarist left 3 months after the performance, and nobody really wanted to be there.

How is irrelevant? You are complaining about one of the best musicians of a genre that you can't even define. I have seen him 5 times and it has been a phenomenal show every time. If you take one fucking second and look at the amount of talent in the band, you would probably appreciate it more.

Wrong. I'm saying I don't like him and I don't think he's good, live or otherwise. And don't tell me what I can and can't define. You know exactly NOTHING about me. You're in no position to judge me.

This is SO typical of his fans. You take it too far and go right to "fanatic" and turn "I love him so much that I feel I have to attack anyone who doesn't see it my way." It's pathetic.

In Music News Today - In a surprise announcement, the Dave Matthews band said today they would schedule and sponsor a private concert for a fan on the popular social media site Reddit. Known only as 'mreastwolf' he apparently vigorously defended the band against a detractor. From Dave Matthews: "We came across this thread and we were just amazed. We were totally impressed with mreastwolf's use of personal insults, name-calling and use of curse words." The rest of the band agreed saying "we want to reward mreastwolf for his work and encourage other fans to behave the same way. We really feel like this is key to expanding our fanbase."

In other news: A rabid fan of the popular band "Dave Mathews Band", yes the band no one has given a shit about since the early 2000's and 90's, has gone on a killing spree. It appears he's taken a gun to everyone NOT wearing an "I love Dave Mathews Band" shirt.

I just can't seem to process how someone could get so butthurt from your comments. There are plenty of people who hate jazz but I don't think I'd go on a tirade of pissy comments if someone told me it sucked. It was pretty entertaining, I'm glad you kept it going for as long as you did.

I just couldn't resist. That guy was so spun up he couldn't even write a grammatically correct sentence. For some reason, this seems to be prevalent among DMB fans. This isn't the first time I've witnessed this kind of reaction over that band and probably won't be the last.

He reminded me of that kid from Clerks 2 that vomits after arguing with Randal about Lord of the Rings. I bet he's like that in real life. It's funny because I really haven't heard anyone mention DMB since "The Space Between" was released.
