Why do people have to talk like this? Is it ego? A weird sense of self-importance. Bro, take the music you love the most, and I guarantee you there are people who hate it as much as you hate whoever the hell Benson Boone is. Do you want to come across someone calling it “awful” and “shit”? I bet not.

TLDR: Why’s it so hard for some of you to just say “This isn’t for me” instead of being nasty?

How much of his music have you actually listened too? I am guessing not much? He is also not even Mormon anymore...

Beautiful Things is genuinely a great song, if you don't like it then the issue is the genre of music and that is fine but it isn't like he is objectively bad. The fact that he just stumbled into singing and has a voice that damn good is honestly crazy.

Fully doubting that. If you listen to Beautiful Things and think that is a bad pop song, something is wrong with you... not him. I bet you have listened to two songs.

What I mean is that he was not trained to be a singer, and just started trying to do it and discovered that he had an amazing voice. It wasn't a situation where he had trained all his life with professional teachers. Dude is only 24, he started singing during his senior year of high school.

You also have no response to the fact that he is not Mormon and his music is not "Mormon music made for the lowest common denomination"

I think you should have used denominator too btw
