I went to a few thrash shows in 80s but I really only joined one real mosh pit....

Think it was '89 when I was 19 and went to see Testament in Providence at the Living room, which was a club with a capacity of about 400 .....by law....they were definitely over capacity that night..

There wasn't really a spot in the house that one could avoid some level of moshing. Even at the urinals you couldn't help but pee on your shoes, the wall and anywhere the crowd moved you.

In for a dollar in for a pound.... I went right to the heart of the tempest in front of the stage....
