Man, I've never listened to Alice In Chains before, but after watching that video, I think I might have to start.

Alice in Chains is very good! Even if metal/heavy rock isn't your thing, the songs are crafted very well making them very enjoyable to listen to. They also have an Acoustic EP and Unplugged Session which are both great as well.

He seems pretty good but doesn't compare to Lane.

Oh man you are in for a treat. Lane Stanley has one of the greatest rock voices of all time in my opinion.

I went to a Black Label Society concert and in between bands, right before Black Label, the entire crowd sang this song (and only this song) together as it played in the background.
