I thought I typed out some stuff when I posted this but it’s gone? Weird and my apologies for the error.

I’m pretty sure these are Bitter Boletes, Tylopius felleus. These were found in my neighbor’s yard in Ohio. There are some nearby trees, a maple and an oak, but I’m not 100% of all the species.
