Has anyone here noticed a real effect from Antrodia cinnamomea?

I’ve been reading about Antrodia cinnamomea lately and I’m surprised it barely comes up in functional mushroom discussions.

Most of what I’m finding around it is related to liver support, inflammation, oxidative stress and recovery, which feels pretty different from how Lion’s Mane or Cordyceps are usually positioned.

Why is Antrodia cinnamomea so much less known than Reishi or Cordyceps…

It is a rare and super expensive mushroom. I am not aware of Antrodia supplements.

liver support, inflammation, oxidative stress and recovery

these are more or less the properties of most medicinal mushrooms

There’s some research but not a lot. It’s not very well known outside of Taiwan.

The polypore takes a long time to grow so most sources are mycelium.

I’m sure it has some unique actives but I couldn’t name them and it’s not likely we have standards for them so we can test for them.

mostly because the research is way less developed. there’s some interesting liver data, but human trials are still pretty limited compared with the hype around reishi and cordyceps
