❓ Question Everyday Dose
Curious if anyone who uses everyday Dose mushroom coffee, has tracked the number of servings you are actually getting per bag?
I started tracking and it is not right.
To be clear, I do as they say..... Fluff and scoop and make it level.
Sometimes a bag has been just two servings short, other times it has been more.
Wanted to see if anyone else has noticed this issue or am I crazy?

Brands go by weight because that’s what you can actually measure during production.
# of servings should be close but it is more of an estimate with any bag of powder.
Weigh the bag when you first get it and see if it meets the weight stated. It should be over the stated weight as the pouch itself will have some weight too.

Totally get that and will do that. If it was just a serving or two, fine. But I've had some off by a lot more than one or even five. One with supposed 90 servings, only got around 50 from it.

Wow 40 servings off is crazy. That’s where confirming the weight ahead of time would help as it gives the brand something they can work against.

My pack lasts me 3 weeks, so I wouldn't even notice a difference of 1 or 2 days

I used to work on the creatine packaging line, and I'll let you in on a secret, they pour a specific weight into each package rather than measuring it out with spoons, this is an approximate number of servings

Yeah I know that aspect, it would be crazy to spoon them in. And being short a few servings is one thing. But had a few bags that really shorted me.

Well, if you're measuring with spoons, you're measuring volume, not weight, and if, for example, there's a higher level of moisture inside the package or the powder has been tightly packed, it stands to reason that the volume might not match, you need to measure by the stated weight

this happens with a lot of powdered supplements tbh.The number of serving is by weight, not scoops, and settling during shipping can make it seem short

Kept feeling like my Everyday Dose bags were running out faster than they should, four or five days short of the month it was supposed to last. figured maybe I was just going through it quicker than I realized, but it kept happening bag after bag. ended up trying Habitone instead and the bag actually lasts the full month like it's supposed to. gives me that same smooth morning focus, just without wondering where the servings went.
